WHAT WILL THEY SAY NEXT?

European journalists haven’t disappointed here the past two weeks with offering some of the more bizarre questions/comments during the interview process.
Yet another came Friday, when IOC spokeswoman Giselle Davies said her organization will leave Beijing happy the Games were awarded to China.
"Why do you look so fed up with the job you’re doing right now," followed a German writer. "Your smile is not sincere."
Said Davies, smiling: "My smile is real."
The statement by the German wasn’t the dumbest thing uttered Friday.
Take this one from an American writer addressing members of the U.S. Olympic Committee about the host finalists for the 2016 Games.
"Would you like Chicago to win?"
Uh, yeah.
Or the fact they spend every second of their lives working on it would suddenly appear pretty dumb.
