SILVERADO SWEEPS CORONADO IN GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Patti Flag’s 16 kills and 17 digs helped Silverado to a 26-24, 25-12, 25-23 road win over Coronado in girls volleyball Wednesday.

Penina Wiley added seven blocks for the Skyhawks, and Rebecca Agae had 36 assists.

Jennifer Singer had 15 kills for the Cougars, and Shelby Scott added 12 digs.

At Green Valley, Siga Appelgate had eight kills and Karlee Skalla six kills and seven aces to help the Gators to a 25-12, 25-5, 25-19 victory over Tech.

Jena Chavez added 24 assists for Green Valley. Carla Chiron had five kills for the Roadrunners.

At Legacy, Talia Morgan-Taylor had 20 digs and Kaha’i Povaldo 20 assists to lead the Longhorns over Cheyenne 25-22, 25-11, 25-22.

Sueala Sauiluna supplied eight kills and eight aces for Legacy.

At Centennial, Lauren Sagers had 13 kills, eight assists and eight digs to lead the Bulldogs past Palo Verde 25-21, 25-15, 25-12.

Johnna Brown added 14 kills for Centennial. Danielle York had nine kills and seven digs, and Morgan Vieira dished out 16 assists.

Jasmin White had six kills and five blocks for Palo Verde. Katrina Marcy added five kills and eight digs, and Hanna Korn had 18 assists for the Panthers.

At Basic, Kristen Degoria dished out 31 assists as the Wolves downed Del Sol 22-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-21.

Molly Everson and Stephanie Cinkovich each had nine kills for Basic.

Kadie Miller had 13 kills for Del Sol. Kayla Day added 26 digs and Erin Miller 12 digs.

At Mojave, Lauren Hammond had seven kills and four aces to lead Shadow Ridge to a 25-19, 25-14, 25-13 win over the Rattlers.

Brittany Meyer added 27 assists and nine digs for the Mustangs.

At Foothill, Jessica Heintz had 26 digs, and Anna Ureno-Villalba had five aces, 15 digs and five kills as the Falcons edged Liberty 25-16, 19-25, 25-18, 24-26, 16-14.

Jessica Stevenson added five blocks and eight digs for Foothill. Becca Compernolle led the Patriots with 36 digs, and teammate Jessica Palalay had six kills, 17 assists and five aces.
