Mountain View’s football team never had made the playoffs before this season.
And Evan Entler and Billy Paddack were a big reason why the Saints advanced to the postseason for the first time this fall.
Entler, the team’s quarterback, passed for 1,608 yards and 22 touchdowns and was named the Class 1A Southern League’s Offensive Co-Most Valuable Player, sharing the honor with Pahranagat Valley running back Brady Whipple.
Paddack, the league’s Defensive MVP, had a team-high 114 tackles for the Saints from his linebacker spot.
Ray LeBoeuf, who led the Saints to a 7-3 record, was named the league’s Coach of the Year.
