COWBOY FANFEST

The newest addition to the National Finals Rodeo for 2012 is the Cowboy FanFest, at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall, adjacent to the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show.

Cowboy FanFest is the ultimate interactive fan experience, with 100,000 square feet featuring the best of the Western lifestyle, including live music and entertainment, plus specialty food and beverages, a rodeo arena, interactive booths, rodeo exhibits and more.

The FanFest will be open from Thursday through Dec. 15 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and will include the following main anchor displays:

RODEO LIVE

Daily features include concerts by Academy of Country Music acts such as Chris Young, Jack Ingram, Bucky Covington and many more, plus Flint Rasmussen with his popular show, "Outside the Barrel," and a Battle of the Bands competition.

RODEO ROUNDUP

Every great party needs a bar. Rodeo Roundup, in the center of FanFest, features six video screens with live footage of Rodeo Live and Rodeo Arena, replaying of the prior night’s NFR performance, and a daily baggo/corn hole competition.

TASTE OF RODEO

Sample Chef Brady Spear’s western-themed menu, customized especially for Cowboy Fanfest.

RODEO ARENA

Presented by Wrangler, this replica of the NFR arena features daily Mutton Bustin’, customized cowboy obstacle course, World Champion Rodeo Clinics, Mini Bucking Bulls and more.

RODEO WAY

Presented by Lucas Oil, this "Old West" setting features the best of rodeo exhibits, including INFR, WPRA, NFR after Dark, History of NFR, MRA and various rodeos.

SECOND STAGE

Presented by Cuttin’ Up Radio, the Second Stage will feature live country music, cowboy guests, western fashion shows and a social media hub each day.

NFR MOBILE APPLICATION

Las Vegas Events announced that it has launched the new mobile application for the National Finals Rodeo. Fans will now be able to fully plan for the NFR while on the go.

The NFR 2012 mobile application is free to download and available on all platforms, including Blackberry, iPhone and Android devices. Apple users can access the app at www.NFRapp.com/itunes. For all others, go to www.NFRapp.com through your mobile web browser.

Schedule: Complete list of performance times, NFR 9-5, NFR After Dark and satellite viewing locations.

Cowboy Fanfest: Full schedule of events and list of sponsors for FanFest, the newest addition to the NFR, which will feature 100,000 square feet of the best of Western lifestyle.

Cowboy Christmas Gift Show: Information about the official gift show of the NFR.

Community: Connect with fans and friends via social media and stay up-to-date on the NFR.

Map: Fans can plan their activities with the newest feature of the NFR 2012 app, an interactive map of the Strip and downtown, plus links to outlying areas.

Shuttle: Find the complimentary shuttle-bus schedule, with routes serving 22 hotel properties.

Stats/Photos/Video: Link to live stats during the 10 days of NFR competition. The NFR comes to life with daily photo and video galleries.
