Rebels erupt for 10-7 baseball victory at Arkansas

The top three hitters in the UNLV lineup each had two hits as the Rebels’ offense exploded in a 10-7 win at Arkansas on Tuesday night.

Joey Armstrong, Justin Jones and T.J. White each had two of UNLV’s nine hits. White drove in three runs, and Edgar Montes hit a solo home run and drove in two.

The Rebels, ranked 20th by Baseball America, trailed 4-3 after three innings, but outscored the Razorbacks 7-0 in the next three innings.

UNLV (23-9) finishes its trip with another game against Arkansas (20-13) at 4:05 p.m. today.
