Przestwor pitches no-hitter for Gaels

Bishop Gorman’s Ryan Przestwor pitched a five-inning no-hitter, striking out seven and walking one, as the Gaels routed Clark 27-0 in prep baseball Monday at Hadland Park.
Jeff Malm went 4-for-5 with a home run, two triples, six RBIs and four runs scored. Scott Dysinger was 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored, and Brandon Garcia was 4-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs.
• Durango 5, Bonanza 1 — At Durango, Niko Vasquez hit a two-run homer and Jayson McClaren had a solo shot as the Trailblazers beat the Bengals.
Danny Reynolds allowed one run on five hits, struck out five and walked none in five innings to get the win.
• Las Vegas 10, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Alex Moscow threw a one-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead the Wildcats to a five-inning win.
Francisco Rodarte was 3-for-3 with a double, triple and two runs scored for Las Vegas.
• Spring Valley 20, Western 4 — At Spring Valley, Enzo Bello went 5-for-5 with three doubles and six RBIs to lead the Grizzlies to a five-inning win.
David Carroll was 4-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs for Spring Valley. Western’s Kolin Niday was 3-for-3 with two triples and two RBIs.
• Rancho 11, Chaparral 7 — At Rivera Park, Paul Deaver (five RBIs) and Alex Gonzalez (two RBIs) each went 3-for-4 as the Rams defeated the Cowboys.
Seth Turner was 3-for-3 with three runs scored for Rancho. Mark Stewart had a home run and a double for Chaparral.
• Canyon Springs 26, Valley 16 — At Canyon Springs, Tyler Smith was 3-for-4 with four RBIs, and Brady Smith doubled twice and drove in three runs as the Pioneers outslugged the Vikings.
Valley’s Daniel Horne went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and four runs scored.
• Indian Springs 19, The Meadows 7 — At The Meadows, Nick Vandever went 3-for-4 with two doubles and six RBIs to lead the Thunderbirds over the Mustangs in six innings.
SOFTBALL
• Clark 4, Bishop Gorman 2 — At West Flamingo Park, Jordyn McDonald pitched a one-hitter and went 3-for-4 with a triple as the Chargers defeated the Gaels.
Elisa Dawson also went 3-for-4 for Clark. McDonald allowed one earned run and struck out 10.
Gorman’s Allison Vitangeli broke up McDonald’s no-hit bid with an RBI triple in the seventh inning.
• Shadow Ridge 2, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Mandy Harmon allowed four hits, struck out four and walked two as the Mustangs edged the Lions.
Jasmine Harris tripled and scored on a wild pitch, and Rae-Ann Bohm contributed an RBI single in the fifth for Shadow Ridge.
Kristin Delahoussaye hit a solo homer in the seventh for Sierra Vista.
• Spring Valley 11, Western 1 — At Spring Valley, Jasmine Wilson went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs to lead the Grizzlies past the Warriors in five innings.
Rachel Perri was 3-for-4 with a home run, and Brianna Joseph went 2-for-3 with a homer for Spring Valley.
• Valley 6, Canyon Springs 5 — At Canyon Springs, Lorena Villamar had two doubles and a single, and also went the distance on the mound to lead the Vikings over the Pioneers.
Britney Burnett added three singles for Valley. Shelby Smitley had three singles for Canyon Springs.
• Rancho 10, Chaparral 1 — At Morgan Park, Katelyn Bley went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs to lead the Rams over the Cowboys.
Jesslyn Bley went 2-for-4 and also pitched a complete game, striking out nine, to get the victory.
• Durango 6, Bonanza 0 — At Durango, Nicole Herrera pitched a four-hitter to lead the Trailblazers over the Bengals.
Jaexie Balilea was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer for Durango, and Herrera went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
Preps Central
