Tim Jitloff, one of three from Nevada competing in the Winter Olympics, will race Saturday night.
Jitloff, 33, will compete in the giant slalom, the same event he participated in the 2014 Olympics. He finished 15th in the giant slalom in the last Olympics.
The first run will be aired live on NBC between 5-8:30 p.m. Medals will be awarded later in the night and the event is scheduled to wrap up around 10:30 p.m.
“I was really focused on doing my event and doing it really well (in 2014), but I didn’t necessarily enjoy the actual experience, and since this is my last games, one of the things that’s really nice is I don’t have a lot of pressure here,” Jitloff said before the Olympics started. “I feel like I can really enjoy this experience a little more, and I think that will be a lot more enjoyable than last time where I was just thinking about the one thing.”
