Military Appreciation Night at LVMS Bullring on Saturday

The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will celebrate Armed Forces Day by paying tribute to local armed services members and veterans on Saturday.

Military Appreciation Night at the 3/8-mile track will honor men and women in the Las Vegas area who have served and currently serve in the U.S. armed forces. Col. Ross Anderson, 926th Wing Commander at Nellis Air Force Base, will be on hand for the festivities and will be joined by the Nellis AFB Honor Guard.

In addition, representatives from Nellis will perform the national anthem and provide the invocation during an extended opening ceremonies program that will also include a swearing-in ceremony for Air Force recruits. All military personnel and veterans and their families will receive free admission (up to four people) with valid identification and will receive special recognition during the night’s races.
