Henderson’s Justin Lamb wins another NHRA championship

Henderson resident Justin Lamb can call himself a champion again after securing the NHRA Lucas Oil Series Super Stock title in Pomona, Calif., on Saturday.

The 26-year-old driver added that title to his 2013 Stock Eliminator championship, and he won the NHRA Lucas Oil Division 7 championship this year as well.

“I can basically race in any NHRA event in those two classes for the rest of my life,” Lamb said. “It means a lot.”

Lamb is believed to be the first Las Vegas-area driver to win two NHRA Lucas Oil Series championships.
