UFC’s Ortega almost lost his life this year

Back in February, Brian Ortega almost drowned to death. Following his win over Clay Guida at UFC 199, Ortega recalls the incident and says how he’s faced his fears since.

Ortega is also a teammate of UFC fighter Kevin Casey’s, who was Muhammad Ali’s son-in-law. He talks about the effect Ali had on him and Casey and how his passing impacted their performances.

Ortega earned a technical knockout over Clay Guida when he finished him with a knee strike in the third round.
