UFC’s Kevin Lee wants to avenge his loss to Al Iaquinta — VIDEO

On July 8, UFC lightweight Kevin Lee will fight rising prospect Jake Matthews on just six weeks notice. Still eager to avenge his first career loss, Lee hopes to finish Matthews and fight Al Iaquinta in New York next.

“The Motown Phenom” also explains why he recently called out former Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks on Twitter.

Also, Lee gives his thoughts on the promotion’s new weigh-in procedures, which played a big a factor in his decision to accept a short-notice bout.

Lee, 23, took a unanimous decision win over Efrain Escudero on Apr. 23rd at UFC 197. His fight against Matthews will take place as part of The Ultimate Fighter season 23 Finale at the MGM Grand Garden.
