UFC star McGregor runs into a ‘Mountain’

UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor has teased a move up in weight classes for some time now, but this is a bit ridiculous.

McGregor posted video of some sort of strange sparring session with a man about three times his size, though there appeared to be a gentleman’s agreement banning punches to the face.

That kind of rule would make sense as McGregor has a title fight in Las Vegas on Dec. 12 against Jose Aldo.

The opponent in the video is Hafbor Julius Bjornsson, a professional strongman competitor who portrays a character called “The Mountain” on “Game of Thrones.”

It’s worth a watch just for the comedic value of the size discrepancy.
