UFC star Conor McGregor posts social media pics of potential Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight poster

A boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ultimate Fighting Championship star Conor McGregor still isn’t going to happen.

But the two popular fighters certainly aren’t anxious to let the rumor die.

McGregor posted a mock fight poster featuring a staredown between Mayweather and McGregor on social media Sunday morning.

The rumor flared up earlier this week when a British tabloid reported a deal was imminent for a boxing match between the two to take place in Las Vegas this summer.

While there would be several obstacles to making the fight happen, McGregor’s exclusive UFC contract would seem to be the most difficult to overcome.

Still, this should be fun while it lasts.
