TUF 26’s Emily Whitmire opens up on being homeless, fighting through injury

Emily Whitmire, 26, is competing on The UFC’s 26th season of The Ultimate Fighter.

An Oregon native fighting out of Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, Whitmire talks about being homeless, fighting through a rib injury that she suffered early on in the TUF competition and reveals what she missed most while being away from home.

Sixteen women are vying for the opportunity to become the UFC’s first women’s flyweight champion on the promotion’s flagship reality series. Whitmire is the number 8 seed.

The TUF 26 finale will take place on Dec. 1 in Las Vegas.
