Streaking lightweights meet at UFC 194

Las Vegan Kevin Lee will fight Leonardo Santos in a lightweight matchup at UFC 194 on Dec. 12, sources close to the organization confirmed to the Review-Journal.

The event, expected to be one of the biggest pay-per-view cards in Ultimate Fighting Championship history, will take place at MGM Grand. Lee has won four straight fights since suffering the only loss of his career to Al Iaquinta in his UFC debut.

He is coming off a first-round submission of James Moontasri in July. Santos, the Season 2 champion of “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil,” is 8-0-1 over his last nine fights. Three of those wins and the draw have come since he entered the UFC through the reality show.

The UFC 194 appearance will mark his first fight in the United States. Santos submitted Tony Martin in the second round of a March bout. UFC 194 is headlined by a featherweight unification bout between champion Jose Aldo and interim champ Conor McGregor. Middlweight champion Chris Weidman will also put his belt on the line against Luke Rockhold.
