Police footage shows aftermath of Jon Jones crash — VIDEO

A video containing body cam footage from the Albuquerque (N.M.) Police Department along with audio of a 911 call pertaining to the traffic accident that led to the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s indefinite suspension of Jon Jones was obtained by MMA Digest on Monday.

Jones ran a red light and crashed into a car driven by a pregnant woman. He fled the scene of the accident, returned to grab a handful of cash, then fled again.

The video essentially confirmed facts of the case that were already known through the police report. Officers found cash, a pipe with marijuana, condoms and paperwork from the Nevada Athletic Commission.

In what could only be categorized as one of the most stereotypical discoveries possible, officers also found a bag of Funyuns near the pipe.

The accident took place on April 26. Jones was arrested a day later and stripped of his UFC light heavyweight title later that week.
