Mousasi cruises to easy unanimous decision victory over Latifi on UFC card in Stockholm

Gegard Mousasi didn’t have to exert a whole lot of extra energy to earn a unanimous decision victory over Ilir Latifi in the main event of an Ultimate Fighting Championship card in Stockholm on Saturday.

Mousasi almost exclusively used his jab, outlanding late-replacement Latifi 80-20 in total strikes in the UFC debut for both fighters.

Also on the card, Las Vegan Ryan Couture was knocked out by Ross Pearson in the second round of a lightweight bout and heavyweight Matt Mitrione knocked out Phil De Fries in just 19 seconds.

Brad Pickett and Diego Brandao also earned victories.
