Las Vegan Shai Lindsey trying to prove he’s ready for the big stage — VIDEO

After a one-off at bantamweight in his Resurrection Fighting Alliance debut, Shai “Must Be Nice” Lindsey (4-1, MMA) will return to flyweight at RFA 42. Lindsey hopes he’ll rebound into the win column and prove he’s ready for the big stage.

Originally from Hawaii, the 23-year-old trains out of Xtreme Couture MMA in Las Vegas. There, he works alongside several other RFA standouts such as: Boston Salmon, Josh Clark, Gabriel Checco and Zach Juusola.

A former motocross competitor and boxer, Lindsey will trade leather with Steve Gruber on Aug. 19 at the Visalia Convention Center. The bout will take place as part of the main card airing on AXS TV.
