Invicta FC’s Modafferi says her title fight will show how she has evolved — VIDEO

At Invicta FC 19, Roxanne “The Happy Warrior” Modafferi will get the opportunity to fight for the flyweight title. She will take on Brazil’s Jennifer Maia on Sept. 23rd in the main event airing on UFC Fight Pass.

With 13 years experience as a mixed martial artist, Modafferi believes this fight will show how she has evolved as a fighter and is confident that she will be crowned the new Invicta FC flyweight champion.

Prior to winning four out of her last five contests, Modafferi was on a six fight losing streak. Moving to Las Vegas and training with head coach John Wood at Syndicate MMA helped the 33-year-old athlete to improve.
