Invicta FC returns to Las Vegas on March 11

All-female fighting organization Invicta FC will return to Las Vegas for an event at Tropicana on March 11.

The card at Trinidad Pavilion will feature a pair of title bouts and the Invicta debut of Jessamyn Duke, a UFC veteran and a friend and training partner of Ronda Rousey.

Atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki will defend her title against Amber Brown in the main event. Also on the card, Vanessa Porto will fight Jennifer Maia for the interim flyweight belt.

Duke, a bantamweight who appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter,” will take on Irene Aldana.

Las Vegan Roxanne Modafferi, another “TUF” alum, will fight flyweight DeAnna Bennett.

Also, unbeaten strawweight prospect Alexa Grasso will be in action against Stephanie Eggink.

Tickets for Invicta 16 go on sale Friday. The event will stream live on the UFC’s online platform, Fight Pass.

It will mark the second time the organization has held an event in Las Vegas. Invicta 13, headlined by Cris “Cyborg” Justino, took place at Cosmopolitan in July.
