Daniel Cormier opens as big favorite over Anderson Silva in UFC 200 replacement bout

Anderson Silva may be considered one of the best fighters in UFC history, but oddsmakers know he is stepping into a difficult spot on Saturday night.

Silva agreed to replace Jon Jones on the UFC 200 card at T-Mobile in a fight against Daniel Cormier on just two days before the bout is scheduled to take place.

Cormier opened as a minus-400 favorite at CG Technology sports books when the fight was made official late Thursday.

Early action on Silva pushed the price down to minus-340. Underdog bettors can catch a price of plus-280 on the 41-year-old longtime middleweight champion, who hasn’t officially won a fight since 2012.

The new main event features women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate as a minus-250 favorite over Amanda Nunes. Former heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar is a plus-150 underdog to Mark Hunt.
