McGregor goes after Aldo’s belt at presser — VIDEO

After 12 days on the road spent promoting his July 11 fight against Jose Aldo by poking and prodding the UFC featherweight champion at every opportunity, top contender Conor McGregor saved his final act of defiance for the final media appearance.

McGregor made himself right at home in his native Dublin, the eighth stop in five different countries on the world tour, propping his feet up on a table and laughing at every insult the Irish fans hurled at Aldo from the audience.

Then, McGregor stood up and snatched the belt away and held it up above his head to the roaring approval of the crowd.

Aldo had finally seen enough. The Brazilian champion rose immediately from his chair and the two fighters were restrained.

The fighters will headline UFC 189 at MGM Grand.
