Las Vegas earns extra-inning win over Spring Valley

Christian Lucero singled home Alex Moscow from second base with two outs in the bottom of the eighth to give the Las Vegas High baseball team a 6-5 win over visiting Spring Valley on Saturday.

Lucero and Alex Church each went 2-for-4, and Aaron Remer had three RBIs for the Wildcats.

Spring Valley’s Austin Hunt went 2-for-4.

• Durango 8, Eldorado 2 — At Durango, Mike Matzke was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to help the Trailblazers defeat the Sundevils.

Ryan Kuehl scored three runs for Durango.

SOFTBALL

• Bonanza 3, Silverado 2 — At Bonanza, Sam Snyder had a triple and three RBIs to help the Bengals edge the Skyhawks.

Shannon Goble was 2-for-4 with a solo homer for Silverado.
