Knights jump on Kraken, cruise to victory

The Golden Knights spoiled center Chandler Stephenson’s return to T-Mobile Arena with a 6-2 win over the Seattle Kraken on Saturday.

Keegan Kolesar, Brett Howden and Nic Hague scored in a 5:09 span in the first period to push the Knights (22-8-3) to their seventh win in eight games. Goaltender Ilya Samsonov made 21 saves.

William Karlsson, Noah Hanifin and Mark Stone added goals in the third period.

Stephenson, who spent 4½ seasons with the Knights and helped them win the Stanley Cup in 2023, picked up two power-play assists, the 200th and 201st of his career.
