Tatiana Garay scored 10 minutes into the second half to lift Las Vegas to a 1-0 victory over host Chaparral in girls soccer Thursday.
Wildcats goalkeeper Jaimie Nelson earned the shutout.
• Eldorado 3, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Katie Konst, Danae Upshaw and Claire Wixom each scored to lead the Sundevils over the Pioneers.
Ashley Saldivar had Canyon Springs’ goal.
• Bonanza 1, Sierra Vista 0 — At Bonanza, Callie Horn scored on an assist from Sierra Borelli in the first half to carry the Bengals past the Lions.
Michelle Brewer made five saves to gain the shutout.
• Spring Valley 5, Clark 1 — At Spring Valley, Brittany Hofer scored twice to lead the Grizzlies past the Chargers.
Nelly Ayala, Danielle Sullivan and Peyton Lablue also scored for Spring Valley, and Kristina Kasten had two assists. Leah Ballard scored for Clark.
• Valley 4, Desert Pines 0 — At Valley, goalie Danielle Fitzgerald had her third shutout in four games to lead the Vikings over the Jaguars.
Valley’s Isamar Almada-Leyva, Amanda Marra, Brenda McLellan and Paulina Torres scored in the first half.
• Durango 2, Western 0 — At Durango, Janie Bordinhao scored in each half to lift the Trailblazers over the Warriors.
Hannah Kalb had the shutout for Durango.
