INTERNET ONLY: Clark tops Sierra Vista in boys tennis

Clark’s boys tennis team swept the doubles sets en route to a 10-8 home victory over Sierra Vista on Tuesday.
The teams of Jason Chee and Josh Burns, Daren Enby and Daniel Won, and Richard Lee and Matt Lee each went 3-0 for the Chargers. Austin Petit and Nick Tso each went 3-0 in singles for the Lions.
At Las Vegas, Andre Walls went 3-0 in singles to lead the Wildcats past Desert Pines, 11-7.
At Rancho, Stan Breland and Josh Jones each went 3-0 in singles as Canyon Springs defeated the Rams, 15-3.
The doubles teams of Patrick Norman and Ishmail Gibson, and J.T. Washington and James Jones were 3-0 for the Pioneers.
At Western, Trevor Jacobson was 2-0 in singles to lead Bonanza to a 17-1 win. Jared Hyer and Spencer Muscelli were 2-0 in doubles for Bonanza.
At Eldorado, Tyler Kemper and Julio Diaz were each 3-0 in singles as the Sundevils topped Moapa Valley, 13-5. Jung Parck was 2-0 in singles for Eldorado.
At Valley, the Vikings and Chaparral played to a 9-9 tie.
The teams split the six tiebreaker sets and were tied 28-28 on games won.
Ed Ureta and D.J. Grassie each went 3-0 in singles for the Cowboys. The doubles teams of Daniel Duan and Travis Baratcart, and Travis Bennie and Tylor Ross each went 3-0 for Valley.
At Durango, Bishop Gorman defeated the Trailblazers, 17-1.
GIRLS
At Clark, Lauren Lightfoot and Terrena Terlizzi went 3-0 in doubles as Sierra Vista edged the Chargers, 10-9.
Sierra Vista won the tiebreaker, 4-2. Clark’s Iesha James went 3-0 in singles.
At Western, Christina Smith and Carlee Chynoweth each went 2-0 in singles in Bonanza’s 14-4 win.
Samantha Nieman and Isabella Minoli were 2-0 in doubles for the Bengals. Rebecca Ruiz was 2-1 in singles for Western.
At Rancho, Rebecca Breland won three singles sets in Canyon Springs’ 11-7 victory.
Rancho’s Abony Moore and Christian Neubauer were 3-0 in doubles.
At Durango, Anita Lee went 3-0 in singles to help Bishop Gorman to a 12-6 win.
At Las Vegas, Val Shively and Erandi Garcia each went 3-0 in singles as the Wildcats beat Desert Pines, 16-2.
Gianna Loprosti and Lydia Marvella were 3-0 in doubles for Las Vegas.
At Valley, Gina Delgado and Nicole Russo were 3-0 in doubles as the Vikings beat Chaparral, 10-8.
Kelly Perry and Kiara Miller each went 3-0 in singles for Chaparral.
At Eldorado, Maria Guanlao and Bryanna Gabrillo went 3-0 in doubles to help the Sundevils to an 11-7 win.
Rochelle Casino and Christina Herrera each went 2-0 in singles for Eldorado.
