6 Seeking Asylum – Two close, but no cigar, finishes since claimed by Jerry Hollendorfer; maybe time to show improvement.

Long Shot – 1 Dubai Ruler

Race 2 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds

5 Market Notes – Takes a huge class drop in search of victory by Troy Taylor; Aaron Gryder has a few live mounts on today’s card.

3 Candiz – Taking a big class drop for Kathy Walsh; he broke his maiden for $30K, now is racing for $20K.

Long Shot – 2 Oneandonlyloveman

Race 3 – 1 mile, Purse $25,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

6 Just Dancing – Very quiet meet continues for Mike Mitchell; this mare is one of his 4 winners this winter at Santa Anita.

4 Incredible Journey – David Hofmans adding blinkers on for this; like the cut back in distance, should finish well here.

Long Shot – 2 I’m No Patsy

Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

4 Southern Sunrise – Has been an unreliable favorite in the past; offers plenty of early speed in a pedestrian group.

6 Northern Force – Dead late closer will hope Oh Daddy Oh duels with the chalk; horses run, and run late, for Drayden Van Dyke.

3 Kozani – Been away 2 months since showing improvement in second career start; been a very nice meet so far for John Sadler.

3 Artic North – Has shown spunk at his new digs at San Luis Rey Downs; we’ll be seeing more and more horses stabled down there.
