Company Secret – Beaten favorite is well spotted to make amends; last try off a 2-month hiatus could be a nice tightener.
Stress Free – Tepid chalk in a 6-pack field; NoCal shipper has excelled facing easier, like that Espinoza takes the call.
Long Shot – Irish Express
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $28,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds
Luis’s Especial – Speedball may be able to pop the gate and not look back; did everything but win last time in a top effort.
Fandabidoo – Dead late closer will sit in arrears under Gomez and make one run; will be hoping for a wicked fast pace.
Long Shot – Warrensgildedtime
Race 3 – 1 mile, Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $75,000, 2-year-olds
Pistol Pete Afleet – Took a lot of betting in his debut and did not run badly at all; if he improves a step, he can win.
Stalemate – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to claiming; O’Neill adding blinkers on, could be tough.
Long Shot – Big Dude
Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $36,000, Claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Lightmyfirebaby – Win you’ve already won down the hillside turf course, that’s a good thing; take Nakatani to repeat.
Logan Avenue Linda – Gets class relief from a Fairplex stakes for a high level claimer; like the turn back in distance.
Long Shot – Butterfly Belle
Race 5 – 1 mile, Purse $18,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Charisma Matters – Taking a significant class drop that makes her the one to beat; won twice already over Cushion track.
Bridled Honey – Speedy sort absolutely trounced an overmatched field; mare steps up in class to race a lot tougher.
Long Shot – Netty’s Knockout
Race 6 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds and up
Monte Bajo – Underachieve is facing easier and easier tasks as he keeps failing; he’s supposed to beat these like a drum.
Just Julian – May have move prematurely and was outkicked by a Frankel colt; showed that grass is the way to go for him.
Long Shot – Royal Vision
Race 7 – 1 mile, Purse $47,000, Optional claiming $32,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Vice Admiral – Has run well twice over the synthetic surfaces; should be dead fit upon exiting grass route races.
Sir Bell – Taking a big class rise graduating from his MSW win; he’s shown some ability and is moving forward.
Long Shot – More Ore
Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Set for Combat – Logical chalk has been up close with these in his last two starts; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Warside Attraction – Showed good speed in his debut albeit at an ice cold 62/1 odds; will be a lot shorter price today.
Long Shot – Real Chill
