Deanoguska – Many times babies going long for the first time fill in the no passing lanes; this guy is the one to catch late.

Long Shot – Carrie’s a Jewel
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $50,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up

Long Shot – Yario
Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds
Simulcast – Was well backed in career debut and was claimed by Metz; blinkers off and good works since, the one to beat.
