Hopkins, Rattlers prevail

Duke-bound Chelsea Hopkins scored a game-high 18 points to lead Mojave’s girls basketball team to a 47-37 road win over Silverado on Friday.
Aujanee Armstrong scored 15 for the Rattlers. Jessica Schmidt led Silverado scorers with 10 points.
• Eldorado 59, Legacy 50 — At Legacy, Tonisha McGee scored 24 points to lift the Sundevils.
Princess Jervis had 12 points for Eldorado, which jumped to a 23-11 halftime lead and held off a late rally.
Breana Watkins scored 15 points to lead Longhorns scorers.
• Tech 57, Western 41 — At Tech, Mechel’la Logan scored 21 points and Cheryl Harless 20 to lead the Roadrunners.
Kendra Irving led Warriors scorers with 15 points.
• Shadow Ridge 51, Las Vegas 41 — At Shadow Ridge, Le-Nette Battle scored 17 points to help lift the Mustangs.
Jessica Scarpati had 11 points for Shadow Ridge, which outscored the Wildcats 33-18 in the second half.
Kelly Descheny led Las Vegas scorers with 11 points.
• Clark 59, Del Sol 36 — At Clark, Chantelle Robinson scored 24 points and Joanna Umana 21 as the Chargers built a big lead early and never looked back.
Clark led 15-0 after the first quarter and 39-10 at halftime.
Thelma Padilla led Del Sol scorers with 10 points.
• Bonanza 60, Coronado 43 — At Bonanza, Terra Novak had 13 points and Laura Nelson 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Bengals to victory.
Jill Gentile scored 10 for Bonanza, which took a 21-7 lead after the first quarter.
Sarah Dexter led Cougars scorers with 10 points.
• Jurupa (Calif.) 72, Canyon Springs 67 — At Canyon Springs, the Pioneers lost despite getting 14 points, six rebounds and two blocks from Daryl Coleman.
Amanda Kilgore had 14 points and three assists for Canyon Springs.
• Chaparral 51, Arbor View 35 — At Arbor View, Amy Austin scored 13 points to help the Cowboys defeat the Aggies.
Lista Duwyenie-Hodges scored 12 and Roxanne Pipitone 11 for Chaparral. Arbor View’s Erika Lang led all scorers with 21 points.
• Cimarron-Memorial 48, Valley 41 — At Cimarron-Memorial, the Spartans switched to a man-to-man defense in the second half and rallied from a 27-21 halftime deficit.
Karyn Turner led Cimarron scorers with 13 points. Catherine Wyre and Precious Carroll each scored 12 for the Spartans.
Rachael Zimmerman led Valley scorers with 13 points.
• Palo Verde 68, Desert Pines 48 — At Palo Verde, Hayley Henderson scored 24 points, and the Panthers put away the game by outscoring the Jaguars 23-12 in the fourth quarter.
Mikala Pride scored 19 and Samantha Wayne 10 for the Panthers.
Andrea Jefferson led Jaguars scorers with 18 points.
• Mountain View 60, Hawthorne (Calif.) 23 — At Anaheim, Calif., Randall Van Kempen had 19 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and nine steals to lead the Saints in the Fairmont Prep Tournament.
Ellie Markwardt had 22 points, 13 rebounds and seven steals for Mountain View.
• Faith Lutheran 55, Lincoln County 40 — At Pahrump, Meghann Smith and Seanie Petersen each scored 18 points to lead the Crusaders over the Lynx in the Pahrump Valley Times Tournament.
Sabby Yeghiazarian scored 16 for Faith Lutheran.
• The Meadows 53, Henderson International 22 — At Henderson International, Bonnie McKnight had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Mustangs.
Catherine D’Antonio scored 10 for The Meadows.
