• BISHOP GORMAN — Girls cross country runner Katarina Murzl placed 13th at the Southwest Division Championship.
• BONANZA — Girls volleyball player Alison Simons had four kills, six aces and eight blocks against Sierra Vista.
• BOULDER CITY — Girls volleyball player Caiti Forrester had 19 kills against Pahrump Valley and 11 kills and 15 blocks against Virgin Valley.
• CENTENNIAL — Girls cross country runner Brittany Williams placed third at the Northwest Division Championship.
• CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Girls cross country runner Tiffany Hutton won the Northwest Division Championship, running the 3.1-mile race in 20 minutes, 23.56 seconds.
• CLARK — Boys soccer player Howard Morales scored in three consecutive games.
• CORONADO — Football player Taylor Knowles caught eight passes for 174 yards and four TDs in a 41-14 win over Foothill. Girls cross country Lauren Lucas placed first in the sophomore girls race at the Bud O’Dea Frosh-Soph Championship.
• DEL SOL — Girls volleyball player Kayla Day totaled 36 digs in two matches. Football player Damien Lujan had six assists over four games.
• DURANGO — Girls tennis player Claire Melo advanced to the semifinals of the Sunset Region singles tournament.
• FAITH LUTHERAN — Football quarterback Max Done completed 20 of 25 passes for 267 yards and five touchdowns in a 40-7 victory over Pahrump Valley. Girls soccer player Audrey Swanson was named Most Valuable Player of the Camp Verde (Ariz.) Tournament.
• FOOTHILL — Football player Chad Paradis had three tackles, blocked a kick and intercepted a pass against Coronado.
• GREEN VALLEY — Girls volleyball player Sydney Brozovich totaled 32 kills, five blocks and a .403 hitting percentage in matches with Basic and Coronado. Boys soccer player Victor Chavez totaled five goals in wins over Liberty and Foothill.
• LIBERTY — Boys tennis player Raputong Sopat defeated the Northeast Division’s fifth-seeded player in the first round of the Sunrise Region individual tournament. Girls cross country runner Joslyn Evans finished ninth in the freshman race at the Bud O’Dea Frosh-Soph Championship.
• THE MEADOWS — Football player Pat Kenny had 17 tackles and rushed for 80 yards against Lincoln County. Girls tennis players Victoria Casper and Diana Yee advanced to the quarterfinals of the Sunset Region doubles tournament.
• MOJAVE — Football player Reggie Powers rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown as the Rattlers beat Shadow Ridge to clinch a postseason berth.
• MOUNTAIN VIEW — Girls volleyball player Randall Van Kempen had 19 kills, eight blocks and four digs against Lake Mead. Football player Nathan Swingle had 195 receiving yards, 10 tackles and three sacks against Laughlin.
• PALO VERDE — Football player Alex Bonczyk had a 53-yard TD reception, returned an interception 25 yards for a TD, kicked eight extra points and had six tackles against Legacy. Girls volleyball player Hanna Korn totaled five kills, 10 aces and 40 assists in two matches.
• RANCHO — Football player James Cammack passed for 297 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 41 yards and two TDs against Canyon Springs.
• SHADOW RIDGE — Girls volleyball player Kylee Schraft totaled 22 kills, 11 digs and four aces in two matches. Boys cross country runner Jonathan Clark placed 13th in the Northwest Division Championship.
• SIERRA VISTA — Girls cross country runner Michelle Labree placed seventh in the Southwest Division Championship. Boys soccer player Andres Padilla-Cruz had a goal in a 2-0 win over Western.
• SILVERADO — Boys tennis players Dillon McNamara and Devon Morrissey qualified for the state individual tournament. Girls golfer Stephanie Whatley shot 6-over-par 78 to place second at the Sunrise Region tournament.
• SPRING VALLEY — Girls cross country runner Kourtney Moody won the Southwest Division Championship, finishing the 3.1-mile race in 20 minutes, 26 seconds, to lead the Grizzlies to the team title. Boys soccer player Jason Mazzeo had four goals in three games for the Grizzlies.
• TECH — Boys cross country runner Jose Escamilla placed ninth at the Southeast Division Championship. Girls cross country runner Ana Mata was 10th in the Southeast Division Championship.
• VALLEY — Boys soccer player Avynadain Sandoval-Nunez had one goal against Chaparral and one against Las Vegas.
Preps CentralATHLETES OF THE WEEK MALE Brandon Parker Palo Verde The senior tennis player won the singles title at the Sunset Region Tennis Championships, beating The Meadows’ Jimmy Lovett 6-2, 7-6 (7-0) for the title. FEMALES Lesha and Natasha James Coronado The sisters teamed to win the doubles title at the Sunset Region Tennis Championships, beating Sierra Vista’s Danica Ingwaldson and Danielle Ingwaldson 6-1, 5-7, 6-3 in the final.
