Paiute Golf Resort offers junior golf camps
The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is offering two-day junior golf camp sessions — one each in July and August — to boys and girls, ages 6 to 17 years. PGA Professionals will cover putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, bunker and rules. The instruction will be from 9 a.m. to noon on each of the two consecutive days. Lunch also is included both days and will be from noon to 1 p.m.
The instructors will ensure adequate water is available at all times, in addition to providing breaks during the three-hour lesson. Equipment will be available or a participant may bring his or her own.
Junior camp participants will benefit from the 2,800-foot elevation, cooler air and ideal playing conditions of the three championship courses and two practice ranges — each of which offers a driving range, a practice putting green and a pitching chipping area.
The facility also has a 50,000-square-foot clubhouse, which houses locker rooms, restrooms and a 1,500-square-foot restaurant.
The sessions are July 9-10 and Aug. 3-4. The camp fee is $110 per session. To register, call Paiute’s golf shop at 702-395-1708. For additional information on the camps, visit http://realpuregolf.com/summer_junior_camps.html or call Paiute at 702-658-1400.
Paiute Golf Resort is located off of U.S. 95 North, approximately 15 minutes from Summerlin and about 20 minutes from the center of Las Vegas.
