Former UNLV assistant Good fired by Loyola Marymount

Loyola Marymount basketball coach Max Good was fired, ending his six-year run with the Lions, during which he went 77-117.

Good, who was an assistant at UNLV in 1999-2000 and the Rebels’ interim head coach for 22 games during the 2000-01 season, went 13-19 this season. Good’s best season was in 2011-12, when the Lions went 18-5 and he was named the West Coast Conference Coach of the Year.
