Week 3: Nevada Preps football Player Of The Week — POLL

Editors note: each week we’ll pick five players for a Nevada Preps Player Of The Week poll. Voting will begin Monday morning and end at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Here are the Nevada Preps Player Of The Week nominees for Week 3 of Nevada high school football.

Chaparral quarterback Santiago Vialpando was nearly flawless on Friday night. He finished the game 13 of 18 for 300 yards and four touchdowns in his team’s 50-0 win over Eldorado.

Bishop Gorman quarterback Tate Martell passed for 178 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 111 yards and another score in the Gaels’ 35-20 win over St. John Bosco (California).

Bonanza running back Ricardo Hill scampered for three first-half scores and finished with 238 yards on 20 carries in a 42-8 win over Western on Friday night.

Chaparral wide receiver Kentrell Petite was equally as impressive as his quarterback on Friday night. He hauled in seven receptions for 208 yards and four touchdowns in Chaparral’s 50-0 victory over Eldorado.

Shadow Ridge running back Elisha Young needed just five carries to make his mark on Friday night. The junior running back finished with 161 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a 65-14 victory over Valley.
