Class 4A

1. Bishop Gorman (4-2, Last week 1) — The Gaels have outscored local opponents 121-0.

2. Liberty (4-1, LW 2) — The Patriots have a key Southeast League game with undefeated Foothill.

3. Arbor View (5-0, LW 3) — The Aggies have averaged 354.6 rushing yards.

4. Green Valley (4-1, LW 4) — The Gators will look to rebound after a loss to No. 2 Liberty.

5. Foothill (5-0, LW 5) — Sophomore quarterback Koy Riggin has the Falcons off to a hot start.

Class 3A

1. Desert Pines (2-2, LW 1) — After a slow start, the defending 3A state champs have won two in a row.

2. Chaparral (5-1 , LW 2) — The Cowboys face a stiff test this week at Moapa Valley.

3. Mojave (4-1 , LW 3) — The Rattlers will look to upset top-ranked Desert Pines.

4. Moapa Valley (4-1 , LW 4) — The Pirates dominated Class 4A Las Vegas 40-14 last week.

5. Virgin Valley (4-2 , LW 5) — Jayden Perkins has been a beast for the Bulldogs.

Class 2A

1. Needles (5-0, LW 1) — The Mustangs are coming off a narrow win over Democracy Prep.

2. Lincoln County (4-2, LW 2) — The Lynx host Calvary Chapel and hope to go to 4-0 in league play.

3. Democracy Prep (2-2, LW 4) — The Blue Knights move up a spot after a 6-0 loss to top-ranked Needles.

4. Lake Mead (3-1, LW 3) — The Eagles have won the last two games by a combined score of 82-0.

5. The Meadows (2-3, LW 5) — The Mustangs won by forfeit last week over depleted Mountain View.

Class 1A

1. Pahranagat Valley (5-0, LW 1) — The Panthers have scored at least 50 points in each contested game this season.

2. Spring Mountain (3-1, LW 2) — The Golden Eagles host Round Mountain after a bye week.

3. Beatty (4-0, LW 3) — The undefeated Hornets have the week off.

4. Tonopah (2-3, LW 4) — Dillan Otteson will look to lead the Muckers past Beaver Dam.

Former Raiders coach stepping down from college job after arrest
