Fan gives birth to boy at San Diego ballpark

There was a notable first for the San Diego Padres on Thursday at Petco Park. The first baby, a boy, was born at the team’s downtown ballpark, which opened in 2004.

In the fourth inning of the Padres’ 5-4 win over the San Francisco Giants, a boy, Levi, was born near the team store, which is located outside of the Gaslamp Gate to the ballpark.
