Charlie Sheen approves of Rangers pitcher Derek Holland’s “Major League” haircut

In his recent return from the disabled list, Texas Rangers starting pitcher Derek Holland flashed his old form and a new haircut in the style of Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn, the fictional Cleveland Indians pitcher from the classic baseball movie, “Major League.”

Actor Charlie Sheen, who played Vaughn in the original 1989 film and its sequel in 1994, tweeted his seal of approval for Holland’s new ‘do, which features a zig-zag shaved into the back of his head.

“Yo! @MLBNETWORK & C Russo WOW! Honored Flattered and welcome back DHoll!” Sheen posted. “That Zig will awe sum your Zag!”

We’re pretty sure that last part means, “Duh. Winning.”

If, like Sheen, Holland has tiger blood and Adonis DNA, he should bring it and get fitted with a pair of black-rimmed, skull-and-crossbones glasses.
