Bulldogs send Mustangs to first loss

Mike Tagliaferri had 40 assists and Breyden Burley added 16 kills as Centennial handed host Shadow Ridge its first loss of the season, 25-23, 32-30, 25-20 on Friday night.

Chandler Tidwell added 11 kills and eight digs for the Bulldogs.

Josh Shea led the Mustangs with 33 assists, and teammate Bryan Wendt had 15 digs.

At Coronado, Jake Koelliker had 33 assists, five kills and two aces to help the Cougars defeat Foothill, 25-15, 26-24, 22-25, 29-27.

Eric Bowman added 10 kills and three blocks for Coronado, and Derek Gradillas added nine blocks and eight kills.

Dominic Sumida had 11 kills for Foothill, and teammate Desmond Muuava had nine kills.

At Basic, Kris Mitchell had 17 kills and seven blocks to lead Green Valley to a 25-18, 25-14, 24-26, 25-15 win over the Wolves.

Ben Henderickson added eight kills, five blocks and three aces, and Jimmy Dimascio had 11 kills and six aces for the Gators.

Jerrick Robbins led Basic with nine kills and four blocks, and Josh Scoble had 19 assists for the Wolves.

At Cheyenne, Dustin Larsen had 15 kills and six digs and Triton Manumaleuna had 10 kills, seven digs and three blocks to lead Cimarron-Memorial to a 25-14, 26-24, 25-18 win over the Desert Shields.

Maura Lauro added 27 assists, four kills and four digs for the Spartans.

Levi Chavez led Cheyenne with 12 kills and two digs, and teammate Christian Lightbourne had six blocks and seven kills.

At Del Sol, Bryan Grenier had nine kills, eight assists and three aces to help the Dragons defeat Liberty, 25-16, 25-22, 25-18.

Tex Boonjue added five kills and 13 assists for Del Sol.

Colin Frabbiele led the Patriots with seven kills and two blocks, and teammate Devin Loretz added six kills and two blocks.

At Arbor View, Joe Kauliakamoa had 17 kills and seven digs to lead Palo Verde over the Aggies, 25-15, 25-18, 25-16.

Jorge Arroyo added 17 assists and six digs for the Panthers.

Zach Reese led Arbor View with 12 kills, 10 blocks and two aces.

At Silverado, R.J. Miranda had five aces and Mike Mark added five kills as the Skyhawks defeated Vo-Tech, 25-14, 25-9, 25-9.

At Legacy, Robert Mokiao had 13 kills, 10 assists and three aces to lead Mojave to a 25-9, 25-13, 25-13 victory over the Longhorns.

Tony Vaz helped the Rattlers with 11 assists and eight kills, and Vinnie Lozada added five service aces.

Cory Repp had six kills to lead Legacy.
