1 Swingaway – Running first time for a price tag; figures to save all the ground and come firing late.

6 Tanquerray – Flattered when English Rhythm won next out; ran much better when taken back for one brush.

Long Shot – 7 Pure Blush

Race 2 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), $70,000 La Puenta, 3-year-olds

3 Procurement – Garrett Gomez and Tom Proctor are a formidable team; dead late closer always needs some racing luck.

2 Little Jerry – Ran first time with blinkers on in last; didn’t particularly show more early speed.

Long Shot – 1 Miceli

Race 3 – 7 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $8,000, 4-year-olds and up

3 Guidopanzini – Ran awful in last, first off the claim by Doug O’Neill; dropped to the bottom before going to Inglewood.

2 Streets of Heaven – Second best, by a country mile, in last; takes a small, but important, drop in class.

Long Shot – 4 Honour the Deputy

Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $25,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up

2 Baby Blake – Champion rider Rafael Bejarano must pull out his magic wand on this one; run second 6-times in 7 grass starts.

3 Robie the Cat – Draw a line thru last, a test drive on the main track; his best races are all on turf.

Long Shot – 6 Papa Lev

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up

7 Insideondoutside – Garrett Gomez takes over for Rafael Bejarano; very useful sort on grass, going long or short.

5 Circle the Moon – Speedball tactics with Edwin Maldonado up; will go as fast and as far as he can.

Long Shot – 4 Smokey Lonesome

Race 6 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

5 Gifting – FTS from Bob Baffert, fresh off winning the Charles Town Classic; that’s another $1-million in his purse account.

4 Ridingwiththedevil – Exits a key race chasing Beholder and Scarlet Strike; gets class relief from the grade 1 Las Virgenes.

Long Shot – 3 Corlett Drive

Race 7 – 1 3/8th miles (turf), $150,000 San Juan Capistrano, 4-year-olds and up

2 All Squared Away – Second best chasing Bright Thought in the San Luis Rey; shown steady improvement for Peter Miller.

5 Sky Kingdom – Sharp winner in a dirt marathon in the Tokyo City; now tries turf for the first time.

Long Shot – 1 Interaction

Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Captain Corrigan – First time off the claim by Adam Kitchingman; big rider switch to Edwin Maldonado for the money shot.

1 Rio Hondo – Typical green debut, slow early, fast late; top contender with just one step of improvement.

Long Shot – 6 Already Rockin

Race 9 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds

8 Scooter Bird – Dead late closer figures to sit in arrears and make one run; Victor Espinoza has had a nice bounce back meet.

1 Dance Team – Showed good early speed down the hillside turf course; stretches out, should hug the rail throughout.
