6 Metaxa – Sharp win last time under Rafael Bejarano; he hopes she’ll be the first of multiple wins today to win the title.

5 Ghost N Your Heart – Iggy Puglisi and Paul Aguirre have closed the meet well together; dead late closer will make some noise.

Long Shot – 4 Tiz the Route

Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Huera Bonita – Young mommy Kayla Stra hoping to win some shipping money; parking lot trip in last from post 14.

5 Brandon’s Princess – Tepid chalk could get George Papaprodromou off the goose egg; he’s got a few live ones today.

Long Shot – 1 Jeanne Marini

Race 3 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $35,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

3 Unseen Visitor – Mike Pupye barn was the hottest thing since sliced bread most of the meet; hard to keep the momentum going.

1 Midnight Lady – Was very impressive in career debut win; ran for a cheap $18K price tag, will be protected from now on.

Long Shot – 2 Lil Barbie Doodle

Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

5 Tribal Dance – Third start in form cycle off a long layoff; dead late closer should see enough pace to chase.

6 Sparkling Style – Bob Baffert cull ends up on the discount bin at the supermarket; someone might take her at the reduced price.

Long Shot – 3 Peppy Bolly

Race 5 – 1 1/2 miles (turf), $100,000 Sunset Handicap, 3-year-olds and up

2 Marketing Mix – She is a grade 1 filly facing others who are not; Gary Stevens a big shot for another stakes notch.

1 Dhaamer – She’s pretty talented, but mostly in grade 2 and 3 class; will need her career best to upset Marketing Mix.

Long Shot – 5 Hawk’s Eyes

Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Luckbox Sam – Upset chance in a wide open affair; showed speed in route, now cutting back in distance facing the bottom rung.

7 Divine Notion – Tepid chalk in a very difficult heat; your edge is you may see a horse get bet that is a mystery to me.

Long Shot – 6 Teton County

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

2 Volkonsky – Was flattered when Meydan Magic won right back; Joe Talamo replacing Rafael Bejarano, you know he wants this.

8 Ethnic Dance – Rafael Bejarano had choices and opted for this John Sadler colt; must overcome the overland route.

Long Shot – 7 Elusive Journey

Race 8 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

8 Indian Classic – Tried a more aggressive tactic in last to no avail; suspect will sit a trip as in two races ago.

9 Memphis – Dead late closer could end the meet in fine fashion for Iggy Puglisi; he’s an easy jock to root for.

Long Shot – 2 Charlie’sboywins

Race 9 – 5 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

4 American Pride – FTS from Bob Baffert is working fast, what a shock; watch the tote board for additional clues.

10 – Dance With Fate – Peter Eurton FTS gets Rafael Bejarano to ride; by now we may know who is going to win the riding title.

Long Shot – 3 Rum Point

Race 10 – 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $54,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds

6 Spirit Rules – Iggy Puglisi has more good mounts today than he’s had the last month; repeat of last may be good enough.

2 U S Citizen – More live ammo for Rafael Bejarano; third start in form cycle off a lengthy layoff.

Long Shot – 7 Luckarack

Race 11 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

11 – Saint Leo – Could a win here mean something to Edwin Maldonado; you know he’ll ride the hair off this animal.

2 Dramatic Allan – Today’s card may only seem like 100 races; this is the finale for Hollywood, see you at Del Mar.
