4 Gold Journey – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; adding blinkers on, should be more alert too.

5 Mariska No More – Showed a hint of speed in debut before stopping; adding blinkers on and dropping way down in class.

Long Shot – 6 Rosie Brown

Race 2 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $85,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

3 Theatre Star – Class relief from the grade 2 Dance Smartly for this; has talent, but hasn’t cracked black type, yet.

1 Queen of The Sand – Tepid chalk in a wide open high level allowance; big edge is saving all the ground from post 1.

Long Shot – 4 Bunairgread

Race 3 – 1 mile, Purse $62,000, Claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Pepnic – Draw a line thru the Budweiser at Emerald Downs over a sloppy surface; has a solid synthetic resume to rely upon.

7 Kate’s Event – Second start off the claim by Ted West; has back class and two synthetic wins on his resume.

Long Shot – 2 Noble Kent

Race 4 – 5 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

9 Mosso – Taking a huge class drop and racing first time with blinkers on; need not be much to compete with a group like this.

1 Boom Boys – Was well backed and ran well in debut effort; the rail is a benefit in this abbreviated sprint.

Long Shot – 4 Tasha’s Courage

Race 5 – 1 mile, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

5 Contessa B. – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this career low; all her races, so far, have been around 2-turns like today.

9 Tiz Zoe Cee – Another sliding down the claiming ladder to this lowest level; big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot.

Long Shot – 3 Point Endurance

Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Sweet as a Rose – Has suffered two excruciating losses in a row; today’s group is the slowest that she’s had to face so far.

7 Freethinker – Was right on the heels of the chalk last time while 22/1 odds; won’t be anywhere near that price tonight.

Long Shot – 2 Penny Sixpence

Race 7 – 1 mile, Purse $43,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 Hugh Knew – Got collared late last time as a 4/5 favorite; claimed by Eddie Truman, is switched from turf to synthetic surface.

3 Adellusion – Claimed by the Richard Baltas barn that is having an amazing season; adding blinkers on and Victor Espinoza.

Long Shot – 8 Backintheacademy

Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $29,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up

9 Southern Sunrise – Blew a tire in last, first off the claim by Mark Glatt; the prior 2 races are both fast enough to beat these.

10 Zippingaroundtown – Don’t mind the parking lot post on this track; like backing the team of Iggy Puglisi and Paul Aguirre.
