2 Lady Lohr – Claimed by Dean Greenman off a comeback race; he takes the blinkers off and could improve in this spot.
Long Shot – 4 Big Tsimmis
Race 2 – 1 mile, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
4 Eden’s Moon – Not sure how she lost off the effort she put forth in debut; can’t figure another upset those versus these.
6 Music Thunder – Lost precious ground after an awkward start; Tim Yakteen puts the blinkers on like this for more speed.
Long Shot – 5 Conjure the Spirit
Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies, 4-year-olds
4 Judicious – Claimed by Mike Chambers and spotted nicely to win first out for the new barn; does not need the lead to succeed.
7 For You My Heart – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this career low class; Bob Hess adding blinkers on today.
Long Shot – 8 Si Mar’s Dear
Race 4 – 1 1/4 miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
8 Rosehill Dew – Brice Blanc is as patient as they come going a marathon distance; will sit chilly and come grinding late.
7 Jeopardy Lady – Claimed by the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer off a good second; big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano.

8 Red Door Drive – Bob Baffert doesn’t use Martin Pedroza often, but this is his horse; must break a string of 4 seconds.
3 Sea Rascal – Chance for a Jerry Hollendorfer-Rafael Bejarano daily double; this class is full of his friends.

8 Wish to Opine – Private purchase makes her SoCal debut under Bob Baffert; as if he doesn’t have enough talented fillies.
11 Spring Bloom – Showed good improvement in her second career start; that is a signature way John Shirreffs grows his babies.

10 Strasbourg – Won’t be long before the Steve Asmussen barn starts blowing things up; he has a strong stable in SoCal.
3 Gator Warrior – Goes 2-turns for the first time; she has early speed and miler pedigree, should not be a problem.
Long Shot – 6 Industry Leader
Race 8 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), $100,000 Daytona, 4-year-olds and up
6 Regally Ready – The question is if he’ll suffer the BC jinx off a stirring victory; has been consistent throughout his career.
4 Caracortado – First time down the hill; he has won sprinting but at Hollywood, will sit in arrears and make one brush.

9 Twelve Folds – Lost to a nice horse last time, but she should have won; her debut race 2 back is fast enough to crush these.
