Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $35,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
1 One Magical Girl – Taking a huge class drop for John Sadler; this is a moribund group, winner is the one that wakes up.
6 Beautiful Strike – Exits a sharp maiden claiming win; facing winners for the first time, that is a solid class rise.
Long Shot – 2 Cha Cha Latte
Race 2 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Claiming $10,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
1 Lutess – Rare claim by Bob Baffert has turned in two decent efforts; slides down in class to face her friends.
5 She’s Very Rare – Another sliding down the claiming ladder to face her friends; Victor Garcia adding blinkers on.
Long Shot – 3 Good Acktress
Race 3 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 4-year-olds and up
6 Ashley’s Bambino – His debut race was a good on on grass; stretching out in distance, he could improve a step.
8 Silver Dragon – Big rider switch to Brice Blanc for the money shot; better if covered up and not dueling for the lead.
Long Shot – 5 A Little Hot Sauce
Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, $75,000 San Pedro, 3-year-olds
1 Midnight Transfer – Explosive MSW win if repeated would crush these too; facing winners for the first time, always a test.
6 Got Even – Speed and the outside posts have done well in Santa Anita dirt sprints; lots of old fashioned bias on the main track.
Long Shot – 3 Coach Sickie
Race 5 – 1 mile, Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
5 Fluxx – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; facing a very pedestrian group tonight.

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up
1 Quintons Destiny – When is a Mike Mitchell runner not among the top choices in SoCal; hugs the rail and rallies late.
4 The Director – Claimed by Doug O’Neill off a rocket ship maiden claiming win for Bob Baffert; he is clearly fast enough.
Long Shot – 6 Rock This Way
Race 7 – 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $32,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up
7 Yodelen Dan – Tiny edge in the toughest race on the card; had a good summer when chasing easier foes, class drop will help.
5 Global Stage – Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; has tactical speed which will help with the turf rail out 15 feet.
Long Shot – 8 Porfido
Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles, $150,000 La Canada, Fillies, 4-year-olds
8 Tiz Flirticious – Joel Rosario had choices and opted to ride for Marty Jones; key is going 2-turns for the first time.
