Post Time 1 p.m.
Race 1 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $24,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
4 Laser Point – Has run two straight strong races in a row; in a weak field, she is the one to beat.
5 Capture the Call – Claimed by Craig Dollase off her second straight win; see who gets the lead, her or Laser Point.
Long Shot – 6 Bronster
Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
4 A Full Tank of Gas – Leap of faith in Mike Pupye that this filly is live; like horses early on training at Hollywood.
8 Kissin in the Dark – Tepid chalk in a wide open race; your edge is you’ll see the tote action before I do.
Long Shot – 5 Agreed Upon
Race 3 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 Five Star Cruise – If she can win a race under a 10-pound bugboy, she can win for Eswan Flores; speed and the rail.
3 Can’t Topper – She may not have much class, but she tries awful hard every time; tactical speed to sit a trip.
Long Shot – 7 Folk Dancer
Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up
2 Beau Royale – Was flatterd in last when Put It There won next out; slides down the maiden claiming to face easier.
1 Ranchero – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; Bob Baffert cull can still be a useful sort.
Long Shot – 6 Gunga Galunga
Race 5 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $54,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
7 Caelis – Has just missed three races in a row; big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot.
3 Byrony – Joel Rosario had options and chose to ride this filly for John Sadler; interesting choice down the road.
Long Shot – 9 Triveni
Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
9 Tiz a Brite Miss – Been away 10-months; returns for new trainer Kathy Walsh, she drops her in for a low price tag.
7 Ralphy Girl – She has good early speed, but keeps quitting when the going gets tough; drops one notch, has to help.
Long Shot – 1 Salon Blonde
Race 7 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), $70,000 Harry Henson, 3-year-olds
2 Senor Rain – The race is jammed with early speed; expect Garrett Gomez to sit a trip and come flying late.
6 American Act – Was miscast in the San Felipe; he may be best as a one-turn miler, plenty of early speed in his arsenal.
Long Shot – 8 Koast
Race 8 – 4 1/2 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
10 O Happy Gray – Must overcome a parking lot post in the abbreviated sprint; Rafael Bejarano must be alert early.
2 Awe’ Some Kitten – FTs from trainer Gary Sherluck; morning line favorite has a sparkling worktab here at Hollywood.
Long Shot – 9 Salty Gal
Best Bet – 9 Tiz a Brite Miss (race 6)
Santa Anita Park Sunday – Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 19/2/$8.20; Long Shots, 10/3/$32.40; Best Bet, 1/0/$0

SIMULCAST PLAY OF THE DAY – #1 Don’t Tell Sophia (5/1) in race 7 at Keeneland. For scoring purposes, we’ll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Sunday, Walker’s Landing ran out at Keeneland. Stats – 65/45/$393.00; Follow him on Twitter: @richeng4propick
