4 Hadfunlastnight – Claimed by Bill Spawr from Brian Koriner; was flattered when Tribal Dreams won next time out.
5 Jack O Lyn – Claimed by Mark Glatt from Jeff Mullins; ran poorly in the slop but could rebound on the synthetics.
Long Shot – 7 Already There
Race 2 – 1 1/18th miles (turf), Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
7 Aqua Revelation – Shown steady improvement in all 3 career starts; suspect he’ll be ready to break thru tonight.
5 Rock Off – 6-of-9 in the money on grass without winning; consistent sort figures to get his photo taken soon.
Long Shot – 8 Dreamcatcher
Race 3 – 1 1/8th miles, Purse $54,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
3 Patriot’s Voyage – Speedy sort has really developed off a 9-month hiatus; cost $625K at auction, is meant to be something.
6 Make Us Proud – Has a good outside draw and tactical speed to sit a good trip throughout; figures to come grinding late.
Long Shot – 1 Oilisblackgold
Race 4 – 7 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up
8 What a Rush – Second start off the claim by Mike Mitchell; parking lot draw is perfect in this elongated sprint.
4 Run for Miles – Speedy sort will try to lead these from start to finish; his race two back is competitive with these.
Long Shot – 2 Miles Long Gone
Race 5 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
8 No Silent – Huge rider switch from to Rafael Bejarano; has just missed 3 times, ready for graduation day.
9 Money Talker – Showed big improvement from first to second start; can cause a problem for the favorite late.
Long Shot – 1 Yomybato
Race 6 – 7 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up
8 Oskar Hval – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this lower class; has a ton of back class to run back too.
1 Panther’s Claw – Like the turnback from route to elongated sprint; suspect will sit in arrears and come fast late.
Long Shot – 9 9 Father Pabst
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
6 Castletown – Solid second last time from post 11; finished behind a talented colt named Sequoia Warrior.
2 Jimmy Creed – FTS from Richard Mandella cost $900K at auction; been working well so we’ll see how he does in debut.
Long Shot – 1 Gonna Fly Now
Race 8 – 6 furlongs, $100,000 Los Angeles Handicap, 3-year-olds and up
7 Roman Threat – Ran huge last time in the Potrero Grande; outstanding race in only second start, been given time to recover.
3 Sway Away – Dead late closer does his best work at 7-furlongs; should see a wicked fast pace to close into.
Long Shot – 1 Rail Trip
Race 9 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), $250,000 Gamely, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
8 Nereid – Ran like a short horse in return off a 7-month hiatus; suspect will be a lot tighter for this.
6 Belle Royale – Won her U.S. debut like a good thing; been given rest to recover and could run another big race.
Long Shot – 7 City to City
Race 10 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
5 Zenett – Did everything but win last time out; similar race will make him the one to beat.
14 Heart of a Madam – Ran a nice race in debut, that regressed in second start; that race was too fast paced for her.
Long Shot – 4 Demonsterous
