3 Chinese Praise – Good to be back off a short hiatus; hunch horse for me to win the Santa Anita opener.
7 Deluxe Bus – Has run well twice off the claim for Gary Sherluck from Mike Mitchell; will sit in arrears and make one run.
Long Shot – 2 Lime Rock Revenge
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
2 Runflatout – No shame losing the grade 1 King’s Bishop at Saratoga; these are his friends, expect improvement.
1 Red Ace – Wonder why he wasn’t a ship and win horse at Del Mar; been working bullets in debut for Bob Baffert.
Long Shot – 5 Master Chef
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), $100,000 Senator Ken Maddy, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
2 Unzip Me – Turf sprint specialist loves the hillside turf course; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
3 Broken Dreams – Tom Proctor held his own at Del Mar; like this mare to be closing fastest of all.
Long Shot – 4 Tanda
Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $22,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 2-year-olds
3 Enuff Bull – Has a testing debut where not much went right; flattered when Quality Elusion won next out.
13 Solana Soleil – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; like Rafael Bejarano up.
Long Shot – 7 Baby Letters
Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $45,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
5 Field Report – Beaten favorite in last can right the ship here; tactical speed to sit a trip and bury them late.
3 Sun’s Out – Carla Gaines taking the blinkers off; like that Garrett Gomez stays loyal to the cause.
Long Shot – 1 Joe Doggs

5 Dubai Perfecto – Has the best turf resume among the starters; from the live Steve Miyadi barn too.
3 Roman Chic – Looked like a different horse in last off the claim by Mike Mitchell; ran like rocket man.

4 Clear to Canada – Vann Belvoir barn ran well at Del Mar; key vote comes from Rafael Bejarano up.
2 Los Bomberos – Was flattered when Chinese Praise won next out; watch Chinese Praise in today’s race 1.
Long Shot – 6 Star Dance M D
Race 8 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $51,000, Optional claiming 462,500, 3-year-olds and up
1 Dr. Smarty Jack – Appears to be rounding into form; third start off a 5-month hiatus, saves all the ground inside.
8 Matto Mondo – Speedball has the negative of a parking lot post; can use up valuable energy early in the race.
Long Shot – 6 Megastar
Race 9 – 6 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $18,000, 3-year-olds and up
13 Cheers to Boogie – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; been away 9-months.
12 Depth – Logical chalk has had lots of chances already; he may win by inheriting the lead in the deep stretch.
