8 Flawless Jewel – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to a career low class; reaching the now or never stage.
7 Lovely Sophia – Missed by a lip last time in a fast finish; speed did great on opening day, watch this race closely.

Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
6 Pink Lollipops – Been away 10 months but has been working fast for Bob Baffert; will play catch me if you can.
5 Lottawampum – FTS from Mike Pupye has Garrett Gomez up; expect Gomez to pick his mounts carefully, win a high percentage.
Long Shot – 4 Valeria
Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $20,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
4 Silver Street – Moves in from post 10 so should get a better trip; tactical speed for Victor Espinoza to pick his spot.
2 Backwoods Belle – Big rider switch to Joel Rosario for the money shot; expect him to save some horse for the finish.
Long Shot – 3 Punch Drunk
Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
2 Beautiful Strike – Beaten favorite loses her rider to Marmaris; Corey Nakatani is an able pilot on this speedball.
6 Marmaris – Interesting FTS steals Rafael Bejarano from the chalk; watch the tote board for additional clues.
Long Shot – 3 Tanya’s Tiara
Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $40,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds
8 Palio Prince – With the turf rail out 24 feet, speed is a valuable commodity; suspect will stalk and pounce late.
9 Warren’s Knockout – Dead late closer figures to see a wicked fast early pace to chase; toughest race on the card.
Long Shot – 10 Ribat
Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $17,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
7 My Boy Luke – Has more than enough back class to improve on his last race; like that Joel Rosario stays loyal to the cause.
2 Way too Much – Hard knocking veteran likes to win as 10-of-35 wins suggests; tactical speed to sit a nice trip.
Long Shot – 4 Morganouska
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
11 Dance With Gable – He loves the downhill course and has the best post to do it; lost all chance at the start in last.
5 Cranky Jack – With the turf rail out 24 feet, expect many to go for the early lead; Garrett Gomez will have a big meet.
Long Shot – 2 Husband’s Folly
Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds
2 Bella’s Fantasy – Was grinding late and just missed against this kind in last; logical chalk facing a moribund field.
10 Mil Estrellas – Showed good speed in debut before succombing late; parking lot post will not help him in this spot.
Long Shot – 8 Chilling Command
Best Bet – 2 Bella’s Fantasy (race 8)
