3 Dear Maria – Will try and stalk the pace and hope the speed collapses late; scenario is like the tortoise and the hare.
Long Shot – 1 Alexandria Marie
Race 2 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), $100,000 Monrovia, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
1 Broken Dreams – Hate the rail post, but Garrett Gomez will take back for one run; must carve out a good trip to win.
4 Unzip Me – Figures to try and be the speed of the speed; will like the turf rail out 15 feet, catch her to win.

1 Suances Flower – Logical chalk loses her rider, David Flores is a top sub; was part of a favored entry in her debut.
