2 Choco Ale – Huge class drop from $75K TO $32K point to this filly; it is her race to lose.
5 Anna You’re Up – Was grossly overmatched last out in the Melair; returns to a level she was claimed at.
Long Shot – 4 Warren’s Morgan
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $24,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
6 Mythical Power – Returns from a year hiatus; last ran in the grade 2 Churchill Downs Sprint, now goes for $12,500.
1 Earnednevergiven – He too is racing for the lowest class level of his career; been away 3-months.
Long Shot – 5 Valkyrie Missile
Race 3 – 7 furlongs, $100,000 Lazaro Barrera Memorial, 3-year-olds
1 Gun Boat – Ran well in return off last summer’s Del Mar Futurity; has a bigger upside than his stablemate Drill.
2 Drill – Still has a chance to become a very nice sprinter; was mismanaged from a constant test of 2-turn stakes.
Long Shot – 3 American Act
Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
2 Ralphy Girl – Speedball tends to wilt late in races; this abbreviated sprint distance can only help.
9 Courageousandbold – Tepid chalk lost her rider Martin Pedroza in last; Pedroza returns and she is no worse the wear.
Long Shot – 8 Warren’s Performer
Race 5 – 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $33,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
1 Donato – Was overmatched in the Sidd Finch last out; his race two back is fast enough to beat this bunch.
2 Clearance Clarence – Jeff Mullins has turned this guy around since taking over the training; shows a bullish late charge.
Long Shot – 7 Gothic Samurai
Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
2 Royal Meridian – Two good races, both spaced far apart; flattered when Sequoia Warrior won next time out.
3 Northern Iowa – Outran his 26/1 odd in debut when third; figures to improve in second career start for Vladimir Cerin.
Long Shot – 5 Eaton Hall
Race 7 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $52,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
3 Lake Maracaibo – After two late running seconds, she stretches out first time around 2-turns; has the pedigree to handle it.
10 Lady Ten – Been in the money all five starts for Bob Baffert; she is overdue to run a race thru the proverbial wall.
Long Shot – 5 Playful Humor
Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
2 Obsess – Has run two big seconds off the claim by Hector Palma; pace scenario can set it up for him.
4 Octane – Ran out of his mind to break his MSW at age 5; facing winners for the first time as a heavy favorite.
Long Shot – 1 Palio Prince
Race 9 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
8 Strawberry Route – Awful run last out in return off a 6-month hiatus; she trains at Hollywood, capable of improvement.
13 Pumpkin Pie – Tepid chalk has been away 10-months; taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming.
