Post Time 1 p.m.
Race 1 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $35,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
2 Star Navigator – Not much to choose from in the 5-pack; broke his maiden in last, will show speed on the stretch out.
4 Brass Plate – Joel Rosario had choices, albeit meager, but lands here for John Sadler; never ran a step in last.
Long Shot – 5 Warren’s Warehouse
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
4 Dangerous Angel – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; expect improvement in second start.
2 My Joycie – Most ignore a horse vanned off in last; the key vote is from top jockey Rafael Bejarano, what gives.
Long Shot – 3 Not to Notty
Race 3 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $55,000, Optional claiming $62,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 American Story – Looks like the Bob Baffert invitational allowance; this filly is battled tested in two tough stakes.
2 Makoma – Dead-late closer was life and death to get up in last; not sure if the pace scenario will be fast enough.
Long Shot – 3 Crisis of Spirit
Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $20,000, Claiming $10,000, 3-year-olds and up
6 Easy On The Eye – Not often you see a 9-YO low claimer win 3 in a row; has the tactical speed to sit a trip.
2 Seven Secrets – Sprinter stretching out has a good resume going long; will certainly attend the early pace.
Long Shot – 1 Nitro Active
Race 5 – 6 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
9 Russian River – Mike Mitchell shoving this class dropper down our throats; let’s see how many trainers go for the shake.
2 Roman Charity – Taking the blinkers off today; turns back in distance and off the turf too, could last longer here.
Long Shot – 1 Stunningly
Race 6 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
1 Causeithertz – Big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot; saves all the ground inside, will grind late.
11 Joke Face – Parking lot post will test Joel Rosario to get a trip; solid debut down the hillside turf course.
Long Shot – 4 Squad
Race 7 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 Toro Bonito – Bob Baffert mare may like running over her home track versus Arcadia; solid upsetter chance.
6 Samba School – Chalk is one of two running for a $40k price tag; another who can wake up running at home.
Long Shot – 3 Bar Rock Omama
Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
5 Me Salty – Chance to sit a trip and come running late; exits a bullet work, there figures to be more than enough pace.
6 Blind Magic – Favorite will try to be the speed of the speed; lost whip in last surely couldn’t have helped.
Long Shot – 8 Tuba Man
Best Bet – 1 American Story (race 3)
Hollywood Park Thurday – Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 16/5/$31.40; Long Shots, 8/0/$0; Best Bet, 1/1/$3.80

SIMULCAST PICK OF THE DAY – 3 Slevin (4/1) in race 8 at Aqueduct. For scoring purposes, we’ll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Thursday, Craven Caden ran out at Gulfstream Park. Stats – 66/46/$362.60
